MONROVIA, May 29 (LINA) - An official of the Ministry of Transport has said that the ongoing vehicle inspection will continue to promote tax payment and respect for the law governing the transport sector.

Transport Ministry Director of Press, Samuel G. Barjibo, was reacting to public outcry that the ongoing vehicle inspection was causing traffic jams that affect commuters in meeting appointments and work and school schedules.

He, however, urged the general public to exercise patience as efforts were being made to speed up the inspection process.

Civil servants and other commuters in Monrovia have been finding it difficult to get to work on time as a result of the ongoing vehicle inspection that began about a month ago.
