SANNIQUELLIE, July 22 (LINA) -The North Dakota branch of the United Nimba Citizens Council in the United States has donated over US$100,000 worth of medical equipment and assorted materials to Nimba County.

Presenting the equipment to the County Health Team, Superintendent Fong Zuagele urged the team to ensure proper delivery and use of the equipment as is expected by the donors.

The consignment includes 470 cartoons of assorted materials, 141 assorted bags, hospital bed and 4 heavy duty electric chairs.

Other items are four springboards, seven trails, 27 walking sticks, and 11 wheel chairs.

Receiving the items, County Health Services Administrator Rancy Leslah said the major end users of the supplies would be the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Hospital which, he noted, is the only referral hospital in the county with a huge influx of patients.

Rancy expressed appreciation to the donors and promised to use the supplies for the intended purpose.
